It's Been A While

Whoa! Last entry was year 2007, and it's year 2012 now. It's been 5 years! I used to be into scrapbooking when I created this page. I've been hooked up into so many things and I would say that scrapbooking was just a stint. Let's see, before scrapbooking, it was probably cross stitching. I remember I still have with this unfinished project. I would say it's a scene where it includes a house, trees, and children playing. I started the project a day before Jared, my eldest, was born. I was having contractions then without me knowing it! I thought the backaches were due to long hours of stitching but that was it! Anyway, I continued cross stitching but when I went back to school, I never had the time..then more so when I started working. Conclusion is that it's been 16 years and it's still an unfinished project...

Next came scrapbooking. Did I mentioned in my first blog how I came into it? It was probably out of boredom, burnt-out from my previous job. Upon checking my email, I came across this e-group of scrapbooking fan

atics, and although my hands are "uncreative", my eyes knows art and beauty when it sees one. I was fascinated by the colorful layouts of those SB gurus! And since

I've been into photo collection, I've been easily swayed to try scrapbooking. I did try

and that's why this page is here :-) However, several things came my way which put a halt in this newfound hobby. First, I got a new job and it took 1 of my precious day-off. The job itself was pretty demanding and I really could not find time to concentrate with my layouts. Next, the budget. My kids are growing and they needed a lot of things. Guilt was constantly nagging me everytime I buy this fancy sb materials instead of things for my kids. So, I've decided to lay low and used the sb creativity into the traditional photo albums where I won't need fancy papers and bulging materials... I continued buying sb stuff but not as costly as the ones I would be using had it been for real sb layouts.

After a while, Twilight came. It came to me like a hurricane! I was swept off my feet like a giddy teenager. Vampire, wicca, aura, and the likes took a chunk of my time where I spent hours reading, exploring, experimenting... it got me collecting the twilight saga books, then to Anne Rice's, and I even sported an Alice Cullen haircut! Whew, it took me an estimate of almost 2 years before I finally woke up.

When I moved in into to this house in July 2010 (July 11 to be exact), I got dirty with gardening. And now, I have my eyes set on "Country" for our home. Little by little I intend to turn this house and every little thing in it, have a coun

try feel.

There was also a time when I became health conscious.

I found myself running back and forth within the perimeter

of our house, jumping and down while watching and imitating

the taebo video, eating healthy cereals, counting my water intake,

and so on and so forth. But I'm back in my old self now. Eating

without worrying is still more fun :-)

So that's it for now! Whew! I'll have to update this blog once in a while:-)
